Housewarming
Today, the game Two Hearts has moved to its own domain https://twohearts.app.
A settings screen (three dots in the top right corner), privacy policy during registration, and the ability to log out 😈 have appeared. The text on the project page has been slightly edited. The settings page now shows user information, but it cannot be changed yet (hehe).
A few words about information security. In the era of the rise of neural networks, data trading, and large-scale leaks of personal information, every person on the internet should be warned and consider the risks of sharing their data.
When using Two Hearts, the player only needs to provide an email and password. This data is encrypted during transmission and when stored in the database. The encryption works in such a way that even if a malicious actor knows the final code, they cannot obtain the original password. The database owner also does not have access to the original password, but only knows the encryption code. However, the most common character combinations have long been known, so we advise you to use complex passwords consisting of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols that are longer than 8 characters.
The application's traffic goes through the HTTPS protocol, adding another level of protection. HTTPS provides a secure connection between the user and the server. Even if scammers have access to the router or read traffic in some other way, they cannot decrypt what the user has sent. In modern browsers, you can view security certificate information by clicking on the lock icon in the website address bar. Most sites now use the HTTPS protocol, but if you visit a site without traffic encryption, you will see a warning sign instead of a lock.
In these words, we just wanted to say, "Take care of yourself and your data ❤️."
We are currently working on the English version and writing new chapters.
